Help with the PromptSafe browser extension.

Common fixes

It did not warn me. PromptSafe only works in Chrome, on ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, and Dola. After installing or updating the extension, refresh any AI tabs that were already open. A green ON badge on the PromptSafe toolbar icon means it is active on that tab. Also check that Protection is switched on in the popup.

It flagged something harmless. Click "Not sensitive" next to the item in the warning and PromptSafe stops flagging that exact value. To stop a whole kind of match, open the extension's options page, find Rules, and switch that rule off. "Clear ignored values" on the same page undoes your choices.

A site stopped working after it changed its layout. AI sites change often. Tell us the site and what you see, and we will update the extension.

Files and images. PromptSafe cannot scan file contents yet. It shows a reminder when a file is attached or an image is pasted.

Your data

The audit log and AI tool inventory are stored only in your browser. You can export or clear both on the extension's options page. See the privacy policy.
